We can make physical activity more accessible for our fellow brothers and sisters.
I began practicing yoga with my mom when I was younger as a supplement to my training for volleyball and track. As a former student athlete, yoga allowed me to physically perform better and reduce the stress from constantly being on the go. My practice transformed when I completed my teacher training and deepened my yoga practice spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Thank you for sharing the space with me!
I am a San Diego native. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with my Bachelor’s in Science in Kinesiology. I love learning about health and the human body and I am a huge anatomy & physiology nerd! I have a passion for empowering people to understand their bodies to become better movers while creating the mind body connection through yoga. I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Kinesiology at Cal State San Marcos, working with African American women and minority communities and how we can we can make physical activity more accessible for our fellow brothers and sisters.
Looking forward to seeing you our mats.
